Muscle Response Testing (MRT)

MRT was developed in the 1960's by Dr. Goodheart. He developed this technique to use in the diagnosis of blockages in the body. MRT was developed on the theory that our body has its own energy frequency. When using MRT, one can determine where interference exists by measuring weakness in a person's muscle. Chiropractors can use MRT to determine where the subluxations are in your spine. This technique allows the practicing chiropractor to be very specific with the corrective adjustment.
Torque Release Technique (TRT)

Integrator
Torque Release Technique was developed in 1995 as a result of a clinical study and utilizes an instrument called an Integrator. The Integrator instrument is a tool that was designed and built to reproduce what the hands intend to achieve during an adjustment. This allows adjustments to be performed without the "cracking or popping" of the spine.
TRT releases spinal cord tension caused by subluxations of those vertebrae that have a direct attachment to the spinal cord. The intent of Torque Release Technique is to reduce the blockages and the tension throughout the spinal cord and the related nervous system, thereby allowing a greater expression of the body's healing and performance capabilities.
This gentle, low-force adjusting method allows the nervous system to re-integrate with the rest of the body so that it feels whole and healthy. TRT empowers the body to make the necessary corrections, and to generate a natural healing energy with ongoing care.

Thompson Technique

Leg Length Discrepancy
The Thompson Technique is another method of adjustment that involves analyzing the length of the legs. This technique uses a ‘drop table’ for adjustment, where a gentle thrust is applied to the joints, which in turn, sets the drop piece into motion and targets the specific joint or tissue. From a leg length check analysis,we can determine the type of misalignment – cervical, pelvic, etc,- and then adjust the spine using a combination of multiple drop thrusts on various joints.
Diversified Technique

Diversified Technique is the classic chiropractic technique, which focuses on the restoration of normal biomechanical function to the spine and extremities. Through the use of High Velocity, Low Amplitude (HVLA) thrusts or gentle mobilization therapy, dysfunctional segments are restored to normal, pain-free movement. Spinal joint crepitation or popping sound can occur with this adjusting method.
